I try to do atleast one thing a day without taking time from the family. Didn’t touch it today but tomorrow I’m gonna have a few hours on itI check this forum every day to see if you've updated your thread. Explorers are super fun.
^^ tis the only way to get these projects done. Takes dedication and sacrifice for sure. Its good to have a garage or backyard.. cuz I can't imagine having to drive to a shop or something to do work.
Patience is something I struggle with but I’m learning.i fucking hate you.
you have invincible (thats the correct word to use here, right?) patience. i only dream of doing shit as clean as you, Marcellica.
it comes in handy with your two littles, doesn't it? ha
Cook craft provides 12pt hardware with his radius arm kits. The beam pivots didn’t come with hardware maybe the production models will I’m not sure so I went and bought my own hardware from a local place. They don’t carry 12pt so whatever haha.oh you fancy, huh??? i see 12points in a few pics........... haha
12points on the radius arm brackets & trans crossmember, but not the beam brackets?!?!?!??
waaaaaaaaa???
if you're going to buy that much brake line to go back to the rad. arm, then the opposite way back again down the rad arm.... i'd rather run the line down each beam to the knuckle. thats what i've done a few times and never had any problem. its just a little bit less line if you do it this way,This thing is looking great marcel! Im excited to see the shock hoop and coilovers installed. Mine had that same exact rust onder the coil bucket thankfully it was right where my bumpstops mounted so you cant see it. Are you gonna run your brake lines down the radius arms? I had a hard time with that part, not sure if the way I did it was the best option but it works LOL!
I was really hoping the bumps would cover that rust so that’s good to know! This thing is looking great marcel! Im excited to see the shock hoop and coilovers installed. Sounds like you guys made up my mind for me. That’s all I needed to hear!I have brake lines across trans cross member on 2ghetto... just had to deal with that and bend it all out of the way when fixing the first manual trans I blew!
I ran them across engine cross member on G4 so I can pull trans without having brake lines in the way.
We also ended up re-running BroDaddy that way too a long time ago, because he seemes to blow trannies like every season. LOL
Def do it that way for maintenance purposes.
