1993 Camburg ranger build.

Got the dash fitted which was a major pain in the ass but happy it’s in there. Time to make some cardboard templates for a aluminum center counsel

Were you fitting the seats as you made the seat mount tubes? Or did you get lucky that the angle was perfect? Hah I hate mounting seats
I mocked the seats up on 2x4s and got it close to where it was gonna live and then pulled a measurement to the tab off the seat from the cross tube and knew I needed head clearance for me I’m 5’11, There was a little pocket in the floor and in my full size f150 I like the seat pocketed back. So I took that and applied it to the mounts

I’ve been stuck working every Saturday for the past month so progress slowed on my truck. Today I got up and had some extra time after the honey do’s so I put together the rear of the truck loosely so I can measure driveline and limit straps and so I could mount the rear bedsides. Here’s some pics of it looking more like a truck!

Hey everyone! I’m trying to put a culhane C4 I picked up off Facebook marketplace behind my 4.0 OHV. putting this out there in hopes of someone knowing of any C4 Torque converters specifically FM118 26 spline for sale?. Ive been doing tons of research, I have the right bell housing and found the correct flex plate off a 2.3 c3. I’ve been in talks with Dalenzie and we haven’t been able to find anything.

I’m at that phase in the build when you can’t really see what I’ve been doing lol but a ton of small shit is getting checked off the list, front limit straps, air filter mount, hood pins, final engine cage tie in welding to the cab that was tricky, bed side mounts, weld and finish a couple tubes on the bumper, cut in some tube clevis on the cross member of the engine cage, still need to tab out the skid plate for the the front bumper and tab out and finish welding the bed side mounts. Hopefully the aluminum center counsel will start in the next couple weeks looking forward to that if only I could get some more weekends off lol here’s some pics 4950D9FD-2878-40F9-90E2-F563E3E2DDFB.webp

also I picked up a Culhane c4 tranny off market place and managed to piece together the bell housing off eBay for 50$ once I started doing research and found the proper flex plate and a torque converter in Florida off a random website.

where did you get that clevis for the 1" tube that attaches front bedside mount?

Found a decent deal on a set of front shocks to replace the original set. Wasn’t necessary but hey now all the shocks are new. Also got a Camburg hand brake to add to the center counsel. Plan is to pull the A4LD and build a mount for the c4 this weekend and work on the center counsel!

Well I pulled the A4LD out and was tinkering around with the c4 and the input shaft wasn’t engaging enough in the torque converter, so I had to bust out the needle file and the dremel to clean up the splines. I ended up getting the trans in but it being 92 on Saturday it was a bit brutal in the garage and I called it lol I also pulled the front suspension off after verifying the new shocks were gonna work.. turns out there slightly different so I’m gonna have to do a 1/8” spacer in the bunpstop can. I’ll post pics of that at some point.
