I always call it the Cinnabon bridge lol but if I remember right then yeah that should be the 15/395 fork at the top of the Cajon Pass

@badlinesgoodtimes just throwing this out there since i was with Josb this weekend. He mentioned wanting to sleep in his warm bed... and that we could camp at his house as he has plenty of room. also allow anyone that may want to leave vehicles behind to have a gated area... Maybe give us more dirt miles as well?

What time did you guys plan on getting out there friday night?

Barstow's just down the road from me. I might cruise out, but I'm a little confused now...

Are these coordinates near the airport, AVS, and Bell Mountain the Friday night camp site?

Or are these coordinates for the Friday night meetup for a night run to Barstow?

Man i should have bet money on Adam finding any way possible not to camp

All i need is some campfire therapy if thats still allowed on property…we could take dirt due north along 395 out of Adelanto and then cut over to Barstow…

I got some wood and a burn barrel of sorts for a fire pit. Also have a griddle and smoker if we want to cook anything. Plenty of room to park and leave any truck and trailers if anyone is worried about leaving truck and trailers in the middle of the desert.

if you are gunna drive down... do it for the clean up Nov 2nd The Prerun is a quick turn and burn... not saying it would be a waste but thats a long drive for a few hrs of cruising around.

looks like Tim with Audiotistics is going to show us the route and help mark trash with us... he is a big reason we are doing the scouting starting in apple valley. he runs this trail every weekend.

wanted to update this, looks like we are going to "camp" at josb house in Oaks Hills (close to 395 and main street), there is room for anyone wanting to drop a trailer, leave a vehicle and camp that night. Then we plan on meeting off stoddard valley road and the I-15 at 9am. from there likley an hour or so up to barstow marking trash, then take some trails around barstow off hodge, and outlet center. Lunch at barstow del.

Thanks for the update! I've been in touch with Elliott and he shot me an address. I was planning on joining camp Friday night to say hi to everyone while I'm in the area!

What time's everyone planning on showing up or is it a "we'll get there when we get there" kinda deal?

Side note - just got into town and visiting some friends... the air's thick with those clouds coming in and it's a bit windy and chilly out here in Victorville and Apple Valley... kinda like beach weather... so might be pants and hoody weather for most of you! It's warm and dry in Barstow though but still a bit windy. Just a heads up!

I work til about noon on fridays so i plan on heading up that way when i get off... So will be there late afternoon... if i leave any later i will be sitting in hours of traffic coming up the pass.

Well the clean up prerun was a success. Things didn't exactly as I had planned them after grenading the motor in the mouse last Tuesday, but sometimes that's the way she goes. @sdecurti offered up his passenger seat in his 4runner. We met up around 7pm at @Motiracer38 house in agua dulce and then set sail for @JosB house out to meet up with the rest of the gang. @Cleandezert @Potter147 @85Yota. Was awesome hanging out shooting the shit with everyone we hit the rack about midnight. The next morning got up Josb whipped us up some breakfast we rolled out around 845 head towards Apple Valley Speedway. Met up with Audiotistics dudes and started the quest for trash.

Which didn't take long.

We marked a ton of the trash using the SOS app ( son's of smokey) so if you are coming out to the clean up be sure to download it and check it out

We headed to barstow del for lunch

we then head to college hills for more trash marking. cruised around for a bit and then decided to call it a day. @the bodj and @sdecurti and I gassed up and hit the dirt towards palmdale...

while we were dicking around with this berm the bodj got himself in a pickle nothing a little winching couldn't help. We got him up to the top of the little sand mtn so he could join in on the fun.

We made our way back to pavement aired up and hit the pike home.

Good times can't wait for the clean up in a few weeks.
