88 Runner

Got insanely lucky and got the 4Runner from work as a summer bonus. It’s an 88 3.0 v6 with 404k miles on it (odometer stopped working within a few months of having it). Was originally bought by Volcom for a Red Bull skate event then sold to my boss then given to me. There’s still grind marks on the roll bar from people skating it.


TC gen 2 caddy kit (Installed by Micheal Allen while I tried my best to help during breaks and lunches….thanks Mike)




He also made me some sweet misalignment registers to take some load off the bolt



Made some bolt in seat mounts for it



Cup holders specifically for white monstys


Bumper and lights


Got all the rear suspension stuff welded and ready to go, hoping to start end of this month

Got shackle mounts boogered in, initially wanted to just notch the cross member but it became easier to have a friend plasma cut it out and weld in a new one

Gotta break apart the leafs and start working on a bed cage and cross member

That what I’ve seen, it hasn’t been too bad. That cross member is what has given me the most trouble. May need to relocate a cab mount other than that. I’m like 2ish full days of work into it

Limit straps/ bump stops
