I recently started building our 2020 4runner. It's a totally different animal with all the electronics bs compared to my 01 tacoma. Anyways the 4runner has abs sensors on the rearend. I'm wanting to swap in a fabricated 9" with d60 unit bearings. My concern is the ABS bs. I do know i can find unit bearing with f250 abs ports. Wondering if i were to splice in a f250 abs plug onto the toyota harness and not throw abs codes. I dont understand abs other than the senor is reading a tone ring of some type in the bearing assembly. Just looking for some input

If the tone rings between the ford and yota have the same tooth profile it’ll be fine.

Maybe contact Wicked Creations as they offer a rear housing and they just say ABS/Speed sensor block.
