Rusty Red

I was in Pismo with my 1UZ and was running with Tommy in his SC 3.4 through the beach whoop section. I could pull him off the line and through mid range but once his SC wound up he would start walking away.

If you buy a Sequoia I may be interested in the body to keep as a spare

Smog laws are exactly the reason why my current project & the truck before it were both pre-1976.

I've heard tales of other dudes doing remote AZ or South Dakota registrations though

I’ve heard this supercharger works on the 3.4 and I’d have to find the company that makes the adapter plate for mounting. Don’t quote me though I’m not an engine guy but there was some posts about this as an affordable option.

Loophole to keep CA registration. I did it for many years with my Taco. Go to AAA and tell them I can't smog the truck since my bro's borrowing it in Texas. Fill out statement of facts saying who has it, address, Which i would makeup and use one I looked up on zillow before since they were moving and if anything went there it's to diff people anyways, couldn't register it since he lived in a trailer at work, and wouldn't be back in Cali for 9 months. They would give me a 1 yr smog waiver since truck was out of the state, then I would do it again the next year and so on. Keeps my Cali plates for my taco with Supercharger, headers, no cats and fuel cell. Now I register in South Dakota because they want over $300 a yr for my 95 F150 and my 03 2500HD so way cheaper and no smog. Living in desert no cops to care either.

^ That only works for so many years though before they (CA) require you to bring it back to CA for a smog, or register it in that other state.

Yeah I only did it for 4 years before I moved to AZ and dgaf about smog and totaled truck when in AZ.
