I spoke with @SteveG about getting a frequency set up. I guess we need to register it for a location and with the this website? http://wireless.fcc.gov/uls

Obviously I'm no HAM radio dude. But something new to learn. We'll be looking into this in the future.

With that said we'll be keeping this thread updated. Maybe make the first post a sticky with the most current information like exact camp spot, Radio being used, and planned runs!

I already told my Sergeant that I'm checked out for the next two weeks. Head is in the dirt. Need a sticker for the truck when I get out there!

Planning to camp with you guys. So far no other rovers are going to make it.

We will be heading out for a day trip if the parts show up in time. Plan just for a day trip to watch the truck races. Don't think we will head into hammer town. Way to many people for us. Plan to park off camp Rock or besemermine rd And head to the race course.

Running a rugged RM60... Don't believe I can plug in frequency channels that aren't already programmed in... maybe someone can assist with that who knows better!

Since it's looking like Jacob and I will be the first out there on the 25th, is there anywhere in particular that you guys wanna set up the beer drinking arena? I typically camp up in hammer heights, pretty close to those nut cases on 3 wheelers and winch mob.

We camped here last year and I really liked it. It wasn't crazy dusty and traffic around camp wasn't bad either.
