2025! What's the Plan?

Your right i have 1 goal. I wanna loose weight.

Outside of that, i am over working... i just want to have fun every free moment i have, and hopefully that makes me happier.
Next year i will get back to working hard. lol
There you go dude. Now we are talking!

I recommend start watching what you are eating a drinking, work to delete all sugar and carbs.

Not that I know anything but it's helped me keep off 50 lbs for almost 6 years.

Start light exercise, shit even walking.

You will start dropping weight in a hurry. We'll have to change your username to Slim Shady.

1. Finish up some loose ends on my ranger
2. Get atleast 2-3 desert trips in
3. Buy a new tow rig
4. Spend time with my family
5. Start working out again and cut down on drinking

Get my ‘75 CJ ready to just cruise around so I can get some trips putting the family around while I collect as many parts for the real build.

Spend more time with my family camping.

Maybe get the DP sold and purchase a ready to go crawler hauler or get everything I need to put one together myself

My kick start when I dropped 17 pounds without being miserable was. 2 month break from sweets and booze completely and 20 minutes of cardio 7 days a week, most of that cardio was just taking my son for walks. Got it kick started and easy to maintain since

Maybe i need to start its own thread, could use some feedback for this stuff, as i dont know much. lol

I dropped close to 50 before the covid lockdown hit, I was hell bent on getting into good enough shape to go elk hunting.

I've gained most if not all of it back, and man I'm having a hell of a time trying to find the motivation and get back into the proper mindset.

Thanks! It's really driving a lot of decisions right now. I have the prerunner, toyota crawler, my silverado 1500, the wife's jetta, and just picked up her mom car- a Touareg TDI. So I'm gonna be selling off some vehicles to condense down, which will possibly include the toyota crawler. Such is life.

Edit: Sonoma is not for sale!

Just store the crawler at my house and tell her you sold it. I will just charge you the occasional use... haha

Hahahaha that’s terrible advice. I can swing keeping it if I decide to DD it. Hence trying to make it nice with cleaner body panels, getting AC back in it… at the very least it’ll make it easier to sell fo mo’ monayyy

Congratulations Kevin!! You’re gonna be an awesome father!

One of my biggest goals for this year was to begin a new career, and to start before my birthday in April.

Well that goal came to fruition today! I got offered a very lucrative position with an electrical company building ground up custom homes in Newport Beach. I start next month in February. I’m super stoked.

Truck goals got started today too.
AAA chase team came and picked up my truck to take it to my buddys place in riverside to work on it.
Rear axle bearing is leaking on pass side so gonna pull axles out and do a prep on the rear end.
Going to take off eBay headers and put stock manifolds back on.
Bunch of random maintenance stuff,
Going to do a new exhaust from after the muffler out the bedside. Not sure exact layout yet.

Give her a once over and hit KOH!

Goals for the year for the truck:
Get new seats and harnesses and do a full custom interior. Headliner, matching rear firewall, and some more lighting inside.
I also want to do intercom system with headsets, I still don’t have those. Just an Icom with handheld mic.
And then I’d like to wrap it myself. I’ve tried painting fenders and bedsides and it’s just not my bag. I can’t seem to do it well no matter what technique I try. I really admire a guy that do a nice paint job. So I’d rather save my cab with decent factory paint and try wrapping the truck instead. So we’ll see how that goes.

Cheers to the new years fellas!
