I will say I'm impressed when riding in this truck and your total DGAF when smashing it, which it takes. The Cummins power and that new trans worked great. Will be even better once you get some bigger shocks up front since even the 4.0's on it now love to create the heat

I think resi placement under the hood is creating a bunch of heat too. The new fronts have "HEC" (Carbon version of finned" resis. Plus I would think a threaded body coilover helps with dissipate heat better than a smooth body.
We will see! Not a ton of area to put a resi outside of the engine bay without it getting mooshed by tires.

Killer truck! How are you finding the Carbon shocks?
Thanks!
Carbon has come a long way. Two years ago we brought 6 or so pair of new Carbon bypasses out to JV for our annual DTX meet-up, and EVERY one of them puked their guts either right out of the box, or within a few mins on the trucks. He ended up making some big changes and buckled down. Current day Carbons have been killing it. Plus, it's nice to be able to chat the owner at whatever time with questions and stuff. I wish he used standard size shims and stuff though, and wish that tuners would deal with them, but sounds like he burned bridges years ago in that regard. He's currently building me a set of 16" 4.0 coilovers to put on the front of the truck though!
