I have 4 total Coyote swaps going right now so I made a hand full of these and some spares. Benefit to being head setup guy at a machine shop lol

Well I decided 35’s were to small and couldn’t find a decent set of 37’s for a reasonable price so I ended up with 40’s

40’s are huge! Can’t wait to see this old girl sitting on her own weight!

I like the logic of this tire size upgrade progression.
I run 37s because I got a decent deal on them, even though I really wanted 35s......

Been picking away at little things while I wait for parts. Trans lines are in and temporarily hooked up. Fuel line is ran to the back fuel cell is sitting where I want it. Hopefully my upper link parts show up soon!

Up from yesterday for now. See how long it last. I also am not for sure keeping the 40’s

I've seen quite a few trucks running 40's with D44 hubs. Just prep the wheel bearings and it should be fine. Running a floating caliper it should be good on brakes. Fixed caliper the rotor will knock back the pads when hubs flex

Got my bump stops tacked in place last night still waiting on my upper rear link mounts to come in.

Spent a day last week and got the axle back brace all welded on still waiting on tips for my plasma cutter for the upper truss and upper mounts

did you leave enough space for a crash-pad on the axle for the bump stop? otherwise you're not gonna cycle as high as you thought you were by the time you add the steel...

Yes I did. Also why everything is only tacked on.

Also with the bumps close to the narrow ford frames when you check for tire clearance articulate the axle with 1 at bump and other side ride height since the tire will go up further than both fully bumped at once.

Axle is 4.5” over per side to match the front axle lots of clearance last time I checked. I came from rock crawling where everything was close and tight. Currently have 9” from the inside of the tire to the bolts on the bump stop.

40’s look good on her! Moved it over to my dads shop so I can get some stuff done quicker and allow me to get my barn ready for a fresh floor.
