Got some minimal upgrades, some top of the line whoops smoothing skyjackers and ebok leveling kit, some rear leaf springs off of a full size Chevy, 64-in. And a good old Lincoln locker for good measure

I really didn't have any money at the time. So I had to start my search at the local junk yards, got some kingpin i-beams from an Econoline van, on 49-in from that same van, fiberglass bedsides off of a newer Ford ranger, some sweet rims and tires, and a new roof

It was an 87 e250 Econoline. The beans are not equal length like the f100 beams. But they have bigger brakes and bearings. It had the 9in in the rear also. Widest production 9in

What year Chevy?

I can't remember the date range but it was from the 80's or early 90's.
If you use the main leaf from those trucks, you can get it from a junkyard or maybe even a replacement main leaf off of one of the off-road websites. And then find one of those old SUV style Jeeps. I think they're XJ or something. They have the same width leafs as the main leaf on the Chevy. But there are way thinner. And there's more of them. And so you can kind of mix match on with the ranger leaves and figure out what's going to give you the best ride height and everything like that.
When you put those leaves on you have to move the front leaf hanger forward. And highly recommend flipping the rear shackle

Yeah sounds like you got 63" chevy leafs that are 2-1/2" wide. I ran same leafs on my first toyota i build in high school. Added a bunch of random leafs I had to the mail leaf and it worked decent for the low cost of free I had into them.

Started rebuilding the back half. Moved the bronco 2 fuel tank behind the Axel

Found my cereal killer scribbling notes for my shock valving
With the added weight, should I change the rear compression to 12's or 15's ?

Upon closer inspection when rebuilding the back half I've noticed the rear Axel may be a little bent.

Looks plausible—especially since your axle seal is fuckered on that side

3in should be enough room between the closest that the rear axle is going to come up and where the cradle for the fuel cell starts right?

Should be able to move the fuel tank a good 6 in further forward

She's coming back together!
Just got to fill the cage back in and build the cradle for the fuel tank and she's good to go.
And extend the fuel lines, and the electricals to the pump

Finally got the rear cage back together, tank cradle rebuilt and re-enforced. Hopefully have the battery mounted, tires mounted, and bumper rebuilt before the next race Aug 16

Talked to the owner of the off-road park and he's going to keep the whoops from last time and add a jump or two

The four Loko started way back on desert rangers forum. One of the very first pictures had a four logo can somewhere in the background. And so many people commented on it it just kept showing up in all the pictures.
And the fact the truck was being built in the driveway out of junk yard parts, second hand parts, with hand tools. There's even some rebar in there. It was built to do rally here in the south east but ended up looking more like a short course truck. So party barge called it the trailer park ProLite and it stuck

Chipping away. Got the tires a good 8 inches lower. That and the fuel tank behind the axle should give her a much lower center of gravity.
Should be able to fire her up and go around the block later this week
