Smog help!

Looking for some assistance. I have a 2012 f150 5.0 and it's got a vacuum leak on the EVAP system. I just can't find. I've tried smoke tests and replaced the filler neck as well as the evap purge valve. At this point I just need to get the truck registered and I'm hoping somebody knows somebody .

There is a hose on the tank I use to replace all the time when I was at the dealership. Most common I ran into was the purge valve and the hose on the tank. Didn’t really do to many filler necks.

Did you try to smog it and it failed for an evap code or have you not even tried to smog it because of the evap code? That makes a big difference. You are allowed to have the evap monitor not set as long as the other monitors are satisfied UNLESS it failed for an evap code. In the case of a failed for evap code that will need to be fixed and the evap monitor set to be able to smog it. If you have not failed for the evap code you can clear the codes, set all the monitors and find a smog place that will smog the vehicle without the monitor set before it sets the code. Some places don't like to do it because it lowers their score with the state but it is legal to do so.

It didn't have a check engine light. Then I attempted to smog it. It failed for a pending evap code.

A trick that worked in my chevy was fill the gas tank to the brim, clear codes drive it for a few days making sure it doesn’t go below 3/4 of a tank. Make sure all other show ready and run it through emissions. From what i was told it only runs that test 3/4-1/4 full
