Anyone have any leads or know anyone who'd have a dunebuggy.com spindle for sale/who still sells them???

Bend kt back, bevel, weld, grind flat, add overlay plates, box in as much of that area as you can, paint, reinstall, smash whoops.

Doesnt look like he can box in any of that area since the heim/uniball goes in there. I'd probably go the route of making a new spindle with more meat behind that hole but thats just me. Maybe measure it to grab the geometry off of it and see if kartek has anything that matches up even remotely close, if it happened to one side it'll happen to the other most likely.

Do exactly what DR Bodj said. It’s fucking steel. You’ll be done in half a day.
1. Drill the the end of the crack with 1/8”
2. cut those weld washers off
3. grind out cracks to knife edge
4. Make thicker & larger diameter weld washers
5. Fill cracks with weld
6. Weld girthier washers on
7. Smash whoops
8. Fuck bitches

Also I’m guessing that it’s cracked there because the suspension isn’t properly bump limited. Check bumpstop position and health.

it not only needs to be thicker, but you need more meat around the backside of the bolt hole. It’s too close to the edge. Cut out a plate like what I have drawn, weld it onto what’s currently there inside and out), grind it smooth on the exterior, then add your new overlay plates. Literally half a day job since you already have them off the car.

papa found some that Kartek has that is pretty damn close to the same dimensions.
prolly gonna go that route. papa said he'll just get 2.

only difference is the steering tab is for a horizontal heim, not a vertical like these. if the heim binds, well just cut those tabs off and switch them.

we would totally fix it ourselves but........... fabbing shit just isnt something we're good at/or even do that much at all anymore. so we've turned into those faggy guys that just buy shit or sub it out to someone.
when really, i guess thats me since my dad never did do the fab shit.
