King prerun series bypasses? two or three tube? Do you know the valving? More weight will help but a shock that flowed fluid would probably help more.

I believe so, they are 3 tube bypasses. The valving was just done. Have yet to play with tubes

More weight! add some tools and a jack behind the axle, not sure if your shocks would allow it but angling them forward a bit more would help as well. From the pictures they look closer to a 1:1 ratio right now.

Got around to adding lights to the truck. It was a no brainer going with All Terrain Concepts as they are local to me and are great quality. 22 inch race series bar up front and two 2-shooters in the back for chase lights. More light than I need. Plus a BLGT sticker for +10 HP!

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted on here but decided to give an update. Truck got a 2nd gen Tacoma axle with 8.4 diff



Decided to mount shocks outside of frame and squeezed a little more up travel

Width front to back is almost perfect

Interior got full carpet and an IPad to run onX off-road


Exterior got mud flaps to mainly protect my shock shafts and other components in the rear

Seems like buggy take-offs are the go to tire for that size. Tensor tires are real common lately but there are others. Seem to wear a bit fast for the street but have iron tough sidewalls.

I just went down a tire size I can’t believe the performance increase the whole truck has now: steering, braking, more power. The truck is so much faster!

Large tire is such a deception, we all think it’s so much better but it makes everything slower and we can’t even see that! It’s a lie from the devil!

Agreed. I wish I would have stuck with a 15” or 16” wheel. I’m currently running a 17” wheel. Having 1-2” of more rubber makes for more cushion for the pushin’.

bigger tires definitely make the holes smaller! But I do agree they can take a lot more than they give lol

Made the much needed jump to 35s. Tires are bfg kr2 35x10.5r15. Looks way better! Can’t wait to put on some dirt miles this season!
