2011 3.5 Fraptor

Finally got some time to do final install and wire the fridge. Ended up doing sound deadening in the whole back half of the truck while I was waiting for the paint to dry. Will be all done Sunday.

great........ simple things like that. you just had to personally work on this cool truck, didn't you????

now it's gonna turn to shit

😘 😘 😘 😘 😘 😘

so at the Offroad Hall of fame, they were having a silent auction. saw these seats and thought they looked nice. My wife grabbed my phone and bid on them (she may of been tuned up a little) low and behold i was the only bidder and won them. not bad for $575 bucks.

After fighting with the mounts they are in.. sit about 1.5" higher than my old ones due to seat foam and such, i rather they sat lower, but so far pretty comfy and the gold stitching and white side panels match the truck perfect.
I need to get one of those consoles made for my raptor. How much don’t I want to know what it costs?

So its been a while since I have done anything to the truck and starting to get an itch... Kinda want to see what it would run to put beams on this thing... anyone seen it done, or have a rough range? I dont even know where to start.... Looking to have a shop do it, because i have no room, or desire.

Other direction would be to look into having the stock coilbuckets cut out, and do new shock hoops and try and pull some more travel out of the blitz mid travel kit. Love some of your guys thoughts and suggestions.

But was almost thinking i could sell the blitz kit, shocks, steering and probably pay for the beam kit.

I wholeheartedly support beaming it.

That said, I don't think it would be cheap, especially to be done at the quality/cleanliness level this truck deserves. Would be insanely cool and a far more comfortable ride, though.

that was my thought as well. there is nothing cooler than a beamed supercrew... I just dont know where to even start on it really, since its so customized. I know Richer is making a 4wd kit with cho... but i dont really want to deal with doing 4x4. While it would be super rad, pretty sure my wallet wont think so. Figured 2wd should help not be so expensive and really its all i need.

Honestly there's not much need for 4x4 unless you're doing a lot of secluded trips by yourself. My truck is evidence of that. TTB without the front driveshaft, and have only had to be pulled out once or twice (spool in the rear helps)

As much as it hurt me to say this beams would be the move, or a one off longtravel kit. I think it comes down to ur budget and timeline etc. Once you get the front working better, you are just going to want to link it. It is a vicious cycle as you already know. As ur friend and voice of reason, go for it and empty that bank account.

Curious of what an engine cage and custom beam set up runs these days? We talking 10K, 15K, 20K, 25K?
also anyone want to take a guess what a blitz mid travel kit with 3.0 coilover, bypass, bolt on bypass mount and custom swing set steering sells for?
