I found some time to work on this pile lately. Nothing important got done but I did build a cool little bolt on skid plate bumper thing and tig welded it so it would take longer

so much badassery inn taking time for the little small shit. like Tigging it all, and also, adding this little filler plate to the welded face plate on the bumper, to make up for the height difference from that stupid stock crossmember. haha

Those two holes are the factory mounting holes for the saw bar. They have some sort of welded threaded insert from the factory. So I just re used

Got the cookcraft shock tower installed. Super easy install took me about 30 mins to have everything tacked on
Cycles just over 13”. Any more and the stock steering gets pissed.
Installed some king bumps and built some lower shock tabs. Everything’s happy so time to take it all apart for paint and powdercoat!
New years or bust!!

Looks awesome. 13" of beam travel will be more than you need on that thing. @Adventure Endeavor old explorer with C&T beams and coilovers killed it and was perfect. Then @the_fablab_ did cantilever 62" leafs out back and worked perfect once Deaver re-worked the springs for the correct arch for the weight it ran.

It’s the powder coat that’s gonna make you miss the trip if anything. You work too fast and meticulous to miss the trip.
