ISO W55 2wd toyota transmission

Im on the hunt for a GOOD W55 transmission for a 1995 2wd toyota p/u (not tacoma). Cal-Mini in montclair wants $800 for a used trans with unknown miles. As of right now thats sounding like my best option since I dont want to spend $250 on a rebuild kit and doing a rebuild myself. Marlin doesnt rebuild 2wd transmissions (anymore?). Sierra bros in Fontana sold me a "rebuilt" trans with a bad 1st gear synchro, so eff them haha.

Anyone have any beads/lines on a trans?

I have a trans that's been sitting on my side yard since? 2009? lol spare for the mouse. Shifted when parked in the dirt. I'm sure it's pretty fucked so you're welcome for wasting your time.

I paid 800ish for the W55 for my 3SGE swap into my Spitfire, those old toyota transmissions aren't cheap anymore unfortunately.

At this point Im weighing the pros-to-cons on (finally) 3.4 swapping my other pickup and putting its (known good) trans into this other pickup. You see, the problem is that Im a vehicle hoarder. If I sold all of this shit and bought a raptor like @WW_RANGER_X I could live happily ever after and hopefully hardly ever turn a wrench lol.
