Good Times.

Now the hard part hooking it up and make it run!

More progress this weekend.

Picked up a starter
Motor Trans bolted up
Motor mounts in with the help of the little man
Power Steering lines in and hooked up
Swapped stock harness 2wd A/T out for M/t 4wd harness ECU... Honestly not even sure i needed to do this but wanted to make sure it matched the conversion harness for the ECU info I gave to Offroad solutions.
Ran all the harness into the cab
Ran all the ORS wiring harness out of the cab. and began install probably about 40 % there as far as hooking up and splicing everything where it needs to go
Worked on cleaning all the bullshit wiring on this thing some from when i bought it and some from shit I have added over the few years I have owned the truck..
Looking way better still long way to go.

Also picked up my driveshafts had one prepped front was okay
Rear was completely fucked ( still a good trail spare) ordered a fresh from Tom Woods

A few photos from the shit show.

Nice work. One thing a night, or in your case 10 things a night, and you'll be done wheeling soon enough

Sweet!! Keep wifey invested in it and it’s a “family hobby”!

Let’s go…keep that momentum going, mouse ready right after for same treatment “E’s Swap Shop” 😵‍💫

okayy soo last 2 nights have been late ones
Tuesday night got the rest of the passenger side wiring buttoned up had to splice in a few wires from the old ECU harness
figure out how to cram all the wiring in to behind the ECU. I think when I do the cage I am going to remount the ECU higher and behind the dash but for now. Back to the factory ish location. Had to get a little custom on the stock mounting tabs. But this will work for now.

54705980651_261dcf73db_b.jpg

Fuse box extension wire done. Thought I had a special Fuse box with no white power wire just turns out I'm special and didn't peel back the harness wrap enough. The portion that was showing was black from 38 years of grime. 🤡

Realized I did not have the correct battery/ starter/ alternator harness that some of the adapter harness needs to plug into. The boys at Offroad Solutions have me covered I hit them up ye They hooked me up and made me a harness and shipped it out already ! so

Last night I got the OB2 port mounted over on driver side and the wires run through the driver side hood latch grommet over to the battery.
Might move it under the kick plate so I can have a scan gauge or wifi ob2 scanner hooked up for more real time gauges.
