What a great event and turnout! Very nice to meet Adam and great seeing Elliot after ...shoot a good 12-13 years! Very cool what you guys are doing and I am glad to have been a part of it. Great meeting some new faces and seeing some other faces that I have not seen in a very long time. It has been a very long time since I have been to Barstow in general. My apologies for bailing saturday night, the kids had enough and were bugging the heck out of mama and if mama aint happy, aint no one happy. We ended getting a room at the Holiday Inn and passing out.

Great event. Ran really well for an event that size. Could probably fill another few dumpsters still on top of the 11. The brats were fantastic. Great meeting a few new faces. Had a blast as passenger in @4lowlance F-150.

That's awesome, I got home last night about 7:45 sat down with my wife and kids pulled out my phone to show them pictures from the weekend and I took like 4 all weekend!

I had a blast though and I felt like this one went really smooth and it was really cool to see more vendors out there this year and that coffee from the coffee/embroidery booth was

The family and I had a great time out there. @Cleandezert and his peeps put on a good show as usual.

As for our crew, I can't thank them enough for hard work.

450 Brats cooked
80 Hot dogs
2 huge batches of baked beans. ( had more than a few people come up and ask what was in them.
and shucks the way these guys peel 150 ears of corn.

Our head Chef @UCD BAJA making all the meats chopping up all the peppers and onions you are a complete legend. Smacked me back in to shape when I was stumbling around trying to figure out wtf I was doing.
@PreCUMMINs (Colton) is just a smooth operator. Cool as a cucumber at all times, with an incredible head of lettuce.
@sdecurti His Flat top skills are second to none The oldest of the bunch full of wisdom and grace as long as you keep him topped up on food
@Adventure Endeavor another registered beautician from the moment I pulled up Jesse was there ready to help me unload.
@CruisinE2W Hopped in the mix. I even caught a glimpse of him taking our booth for a test drive while in his TC gear.

My beautiful wife, son and parents for helping with our merch booth and serve and restock the trays of food.

@Endless Trails (kenvp) and fab lab for use of their grills.

And anyone else I'm forgetting @theycallmeWALLY and I Thank You.!Seriously with you guys we would not be able to pull this off. Much appreciated.

So much to say... not sure where to start.

But my team kicked ass, i feel like this is the smoothest we have ever got through an event, everyone did a great job keeping everything going. Badlines guys killed it at lunch and fixing a crisis... We had no tools and no real way to help other than asking the people with tools to help.

All in all a great weekend with a positive outcome. We will post more as we reflect on it as a whole.

This was such a rad event! Just wanted to say thanks and express my gratitude for all those who put this together and all the volunteers for filling up the dumpsters. I went south of Outlet Center where I'd expect to find trash from campers and there was only one small pile of dumped garbage. Everything else looked to be stuff blown away by the wind or coming from the freeway. Seems most of the garbage is coming from locals and not desert campers. Thanks to Ruff Stuff for covering my rear end. Anyways, it was a good time trying to "save" the desert.

Contact Ruff-stuff and double check the part number on the box, we are like 90 percent sure it’s a ford 8.8. They didn’t give any info on what it was just sent it to us. Thanks for coming out.

prep for this trip always looks a little different.

I picked up most of the food needed for the clean up Wenesday before the event.. plan was to roll out Friday AM

hit the road i think about 8:30 had to stop for a few last min thing and food for the family for the weekend. We pulled into camp around 130 or so. @Adventure Endeavor gave me a hand unloading everything. We started to get set up.

always rad seeing old friends, chatting about the old days haha... so naturally everything takes 4 times longer to get set up. By about dark we had things pretty dialed.

Morning came quick

Dumpsters set and ready for massive quantities of trash.

Peeps started to roll in about 7:45 am

The rest of the boys rolled out bed and got to work getting things set up on the food side of things. setting up the "kitchen"
This year we ran 5 camp chefs ( we need to figure a sponsorship)

The boys made quick work of 150 ears of corn to shuck.
Got the cowboy beans going.
and prepped shit storm of sausages

Caught @CruisinE2W taking the booth for a spin

had a chat with Art from the BLM who also runs a tortoise conservation non profit in the area .. After talking for 20 mins or so he asks if I like snakes ( you like dags? ) he unbuttons his shirt and out come a Rosey BOA! wtffff

C was stoked!

Gus spent a little time over at the @Heer_O to resue booth...

A few last min adjustments

The flood gates opened and it was a mad rush... my little guy was an absolute machine and served every single person all while chripping me about how slow I was at getting the plates and opening hot dog buns haha.

Everything went pretty smooth. Eventually the line dwindled and peeps began to gather for the Raffle.
