I’m not sure what sound deadener and carpet have to do with dirt miles, fire/cooked meats, the 9% rule, and laughing our assets off in the dezert.

Carpet delete. Weight savings. no mildew smell. Win!

Im honestly thinking of just going to home depot and getting some turf. The idea of feeling grass between my toes while driving is enticing

Hell yeah I’ll bring it,,, it was supposed to be nice warm dessert after the DMC bbq, turns out we were too full
to eat and needed the room for beers and bong hits, maybe not so much the bong rips, but the cobbler ended being a

With the lakebed closed we can always drop down south and run the RR tracks to the dunes. It's always good fun to see who can get stuck.

I'm bringing the wife on her first run so this may get interesting. She's more worried about AAA getting to us for some reason. Also bringing one of my sons, may need to rock, paper, scissors to see which one can go.

Sorry I did not read all four pages so wanted to know the date plan for this and the schedule of driving which days and where we will be staying? I already have one with the camp Kyle crew on the 19th and can also do a different date if you guys have some thing figured out already?

Tell him his Bday comes around every single year... But epic Mojave shenanigans only comes around ONCE a year ..... That way he thinks you're a complete imbecile and will uninvite you from his birthday thing. And you're free to roll out and you didn't have to cancel on him.

Thursday night camp east of Barstow.
Wake up and start the trail Friday. Friday night camp at Carothers Canyon. Get to Laughlin Saturday afternoon/evening. Depending on weather either camp on the lake or get a hotel room (if my wife comes, she’ll probably want to shower and hit the casino). If she’s with me, we’ll hit the highway back so we can pick up our dogs and get ready for the work week. I’d maybe be down to run it backwards in one shot if she’s not with me and the trail is in good condition

Well... .work just threw a monkey wrench in this trip for me. I just got mandated to cover a shift for the 26th. If I can't find someone to cover for me Im out for this one.
