Ls swap 4x4 ranger

Well customer was a b and c. Then plans change and add x y and z it's not your fault either. I've had to deal with that a bunch and realized I make money easier and more consistently when selling products. Production and good products is key which you obviously know seeing your kits and UCAs do so well.

yeah well.. poor time estimation on my part isn’t my customers fault either. Haha

I've stopped bidding jobs based on hours. I give an approximation, but let them know it can be more or less depending on how things change as the project progresses. You want this bit TIG welded? Sure, but that's going to add time because of better fit up, time to actually weld it with multiple passes...

Yeah I give a huge range. I'm doing x y and z for approx 40-50 hrs. Anything added adds to the time.

Like a full build I tell them it's time + material and the cost is $15-25K for fab work and material NO PARTS

Photo dump, she went around the block today! Goes to the tuner’s Thursday. Hopefully a shakedown day with the customer shortly after that, then I convinced him to spend a little more money with a good shock tuner also. Fingers crossed everything goes smooth.

Looks awesome. After riding in trucks that have been tuned by shock tuners and having my Tacoma tuned for 10 min I was amazed at how much better it worked than before. I just need to figure out who to have tune my Ford when it's done. Crazy to spend all that money on shocks and not spend money getting them dialed in perfectly

Well... Those wheels should be the race drill... which is a 90* and not the 60* taper that Kibbe (or whomever) sells those lugs for.

Also those wheels should be drilled for a 1" socket eliminating the need for the long lug nuts.

Just want to make sure that pretty truck doesn't look a wheel and then goes for a ride.

You act like you know things lol

Edit: got new lugs from car quest. HahaThank you very much! I went out right now and looked. What a dumb oversight on my end that could have made things real ugly. I didn’t realize the methods were 90° and used what was here for lugs.
I’ll take feeling dumb on a forum before feeling dumb in real life. Thanks dude.
So.. are like dorman ones 90° or where can I get some that you know of?

by 90* ... you mean a 45* taper on the lug nuts? (you can stick a square edge in the lug hole and its flush)

I almost f'd up on G4 too... I was going to use 60* until I noticed they were "digging in" instead of being flush.

Yo Nodnarb...What size are those fancy Kibbetech lugs 5/8-18?? He wanna sell them for a deal? HAHAHA Justin could use some longer 60* ones for Brodaddy as we just switched him over to the street Walkers...

^^^Yes... sorry I was trying to be smart sounding.

So yes. The actual angle is a 45*. I still don't fully understand why they consider and call it a 90* but I was told that it is because two 45* make a 90?

Basically a bunch of engineering talk.

So 45* taper.

We make them/have them made. Since these are scuffed up I’d sell them for $6 each, which is what they cost us to make. Otherwise I’ll keep them for mock-up or for a personal project or something.
