I was thinking nut serts I was just unsure how sturdy the factory sheet metal is.

Vibration isn’t that bad on that area of the body like the front so it’s works really well for me my front tube structure has met its end with the flex the frame has from not being caged and needs a replacement plus I’ve seen so many other trucks do the same with no issues and you can bend the sheet metal to make the tabs if needed

So I'm mounting some bedsides on the Bronco this weekend. I've never done bronco bedsides any tips and tricks I should know about? Is everyone leaving pieces of the body sheet metal to bolt them to or building a 1" tube structure?

I’ve seen a lot of broncos with like 6in of sheet metal left around and the glass bolted to that.

Yea that's how i cut it. Left it a little fat and I'm going to use 5/16 nut serts.
