The start to rebuild. Fabricating custom spindle to accept mustang 4 pot calipers and use escalade rotors. This set up will be bronco long travel width in total 5 inches wider up front. Front will use a m210 4.70 out of a sasquatch bronco and rear will be a matching m220. I am going to be doing a deaver spring under using chevy 63s. Will fabricate a cantilever shock set up. Thanks for all those who helped out20231107_192236.jpg

Some quick updates. Bronco m210 4.70 front locker obtained, rear m220 4.70 locker obtained, hoss 3.0 steering rack obtained, Bronco bead lock wheels and tires obtained, Chevy c85 spring under leafs bought, shocks ordered. Thanks to walker at final frontier Motorsports.

Got the bronco m210 mocked in. Will need to relocate one mount, but should be easy as I planned on doing a diff drop which relocated that bracket anyway.

Due to packing issues and not wanting to differ from what I wanted did an ass ton of research and found what I needed. I purchased 2007 gt500 calipers. Theses use same mounting locations as the s550 gts, but more compact and light. The o did I mention these brembos can be found in all sorts of things like Porsche, bmw, Chevy, Austin Martin, dodge etc. It’s a huge list means a huge selection of brake pads. Side by side the brembo is the black the s550 gt is the cast aluminum one. IMG_0107.jpeg

This is a cool build.

Interesting choice on the Chevy leaf springs. Why those over a Toyota F67/H70 pack or a “link killer” 64” pack?

They were how I say it old school. Most old prerunner builds in the 90s and early 00s used Chevy for their length and arch plus good for weight. This will be a mix of prelander prerunner. Plus I still want to tow alright. Not to mention I got hooked up by my friend walker from final frontier Motorsports. Thank you

Mocked in Escalade rotor with gt500 caliper in the bronco bead lock capable wheels. No clearance issues big brakes in a 17 inch wheel.

Ohh… this is up my alley, I’ve got one of the newer rangers and really want to change the gears at least. Did you get the bronco axles/diffs from a junkyard or? Glad to see another ranger.

I got them from apg off road they’re factory take offs for their long travel conversions where they upgrade both front and rears. They sell them on offer up. I paid 2600 for both front and rear.

Made a fabrication station tree. Everything counterbalances each other. Will be making a wider base with locking casters, and dead weight for more stability.
