BTF 98 Explorer

Rolled out under her own power yesterday, getting washed off and cleaned up after being exposed to dust and grime in the shop for way too long. Need to tighten/double check all the jam nuts and stuff, then take her for a spin around the block to make sure the tone ring works right and it shifts like it’s supposed to.

Looks like this will be the last “project” I personally take on in the shop until I have production flowing better and I can be less involved on that side of things. This took me way too long to get finished, thank you Matt for being so patient with me!

Drove it around a little bit, was reminded it’s got a spool, thought id totally fubar’d the alignment first turn I hit. 😂
Stoked the tone ring seems to be working and the speedo works and the trans shifts normally, although speedo seems to read a little high.

Took it across town and got the ac evacuated and charged, couple little things tomorrow, mostly just double checking things for tightness, etc. and it should go home.

The photos make it look worse than it is. With the hatch installed it doesn’t stick out anymore than a stock bumper 👍🏽
