BTF 98 Explorer

The bumper could probably hold things like recovery gear, a jack handle, or dust lights if it’s tabbed or portions where it’s boxed in.

Getting to the final stages on the rear, fuel filler and EVAP system in place. Can see the battery box location, shock reservoir brackets and rear glass brackets. Almost ready to start on the front.

Front end mock up has started! When Brandon and I first talked about the front we planned for their race kit on a 2.5 coilover due to space constraints and wanting to keep the A/C and pass smog legitimately. When it came time to order the shocks we decided to go with a single 3.0 IBP. As time went on we even talked about possible J-arm set up to fit a coilover and a bypass. But after a quick mockup Brandon found the J-arm would cause more issues under the hood with the air box etc. So final decision with minimal modifications we could fit both shocks with the original race kit set up. I think the rear got us thinking a little too outside the box and we decided to keep it “simple” 😂 IMG_1820.jpeg
