What's the reason for going to a fixed yoke? Slip yoke was never a problem when I was 2wd and I don't recall hearing of other people having issues either.

Fixed yoke is a lot stronger, and supports the output shaft while the driveline and axle are cycling in the whoops. The Raptor guys hate their slip yokes lol While I didn’t directly have a serious issue with it, it did leak atf even with a new bushing, seal and slip yoke. I think the slip yoke success or failure largly depends on driveline geometry and plunge. With my link killer springs, I have around 1-1.5” (if i recall correctly?) plunge. Not great, but not terrible either, I partially contribute the slip yoke to my trans failure. Loss of fluid and forces acting on the output shaft that is outside of the original design of the explorer, a street driven soccer mom suv lol. Plus its bling bling ice ice baby no one ever said bling made my truck slower 🤣
