Britney 1995 F150 prelander

Well what’s new?
The new motor has been flawless and so has the Sniper2 EFI. I had the truck tuned by a local shop and it picked up a little power and got way smoother.
281TQ
244HP
Dyno numbers are with 4.56 gears and 37” BFG tires.

I just checked the odometer, I can’t believe I’ve put 8,000 miles on the new motor in less than 12 months.

Rebuild,
Drive straight to Salem Oregon
Mojave trail
JV trip at new years
Drove to JV for desolate KOH TT watch party
Beat the snot out of her at DezertFest
Death Valley with some Desolate bronco guys
Ballarat with the BLGT crew
Point Mugu 4wd Club work day on Miller Jeep trail
Some others I’m missing because that’s not 8k miles

I re valved the rear shocks before KOH and holy smokes the truck finally works decent. More cowbell. More shims. Big shims, so I could finally open up some tubes and let the bump zone do her job. That was an amazing feeling.

Also added some 2.0 air bumps to the front. I had never had any kind of bumps in the front till this year.

New wilwood brakes in the rear. They still don’t work like they should. I’m blaming it on way too much flex line in the rear. About 15’ total -3 SS braided with the handbrake piping. I need to build it all new in hard lines. IMG_5878.jpeg

Desert Fest was a blast. Your truck always amazes me riding in it. Which is funny, because I know how much you have put into the build. It still feels like it shouldn't be able to do everything you ask of it. It is like Superman still dressed up as Clark Kent.

Do you have any pics of your sliders from the bottom?
No, but there is no magic. It’s a ruff stuff kit and I just welded the 1-1/2” outriggers to the frame. Pretty sloppy really, no plating or anything just 1-1:2 straight to the frame. The kicker at the rear has a tiny bit of triangulation to the spring hanger.
