Figured I would start a thread on my dad’s Bronco. He bought it around 2010 put 4.88 gears and lockers and a set of 36” TSL’s on it and used it with minimal upgrades until 2016. Summer of 2017 he upgraded to new wheels and 37” bfg’s. After our summer trip to the dunes he decided it was time to put a efi 302 in it. It ended up with a set of twin turbos on it also.

We ended up building a rat rod truck on a 06 ranger chassis the spring of 2018 so the bronco got pushed in the corner for a while. We tuned on the 5.0 and ended up chasing lots of sensors for the next few years 2022 we had it almost ready and had some drive ability issues the week before we went on vacation so it didn’t go again. When we got home we ripped out the 5.0 and bought a 5.0 Coyote. 2023 he was driving it more than he ever had with the modern power plant and 6 speed trans to go with it. Spring 2024 he told me I need to drive it so we could figure out the suspension because the new 450 hp was a lot for the worn out suspension. We made a plan and ordered a pile of parts and coil overs and traling arms for all 4 corners. He also had it repainted

12-16-24 we tore the stock axles out in favor of going full width and that’s where we are now.

Looks awesome! I can tell you it will be a blast once it’s done! I did a lot of similar stuff on mine and have been really impressed with it so far

Yeah we are hoping so. We Coyote swapped it last year and it needed a major suspension upgrade. My dads pretty excited to get it done

Well this is final sitting on its own weight and out of the garage. Need to finish a few more small things then it will be time to drive it.
