Ugly Little Truck

I'm curious if that will work since it's not currently registered for the street with it being on Non-Op

Drive it around on Saturday for the first time in months. Drove pretty good when cold, but still sputtering when hot, and booster is in the pooper, so going to do a new booster and master at the same time. I think the issue is a vacuum leak. Something must have come undone when I moved it all to the side. Going to get more hose and extend them all so I can route it better. Also found some connectors loose but I haven't been able to find their mate, so that's a priority as well.

Anyways, mounted the winch and got started on the bumper horns. Cut off the old leaf spring brackets to appease the masses.

I'll get a crawler project but I definetely don't need one right now. Got too many projects i'll never finish, like my 68 Ford. lol

No time or money can't do anything but drive my f150 and work on customers projects to build up some savings to work on my 68 ford again.

Yesterday was my birthday, so my pops came over to help get the truck squared away. New booster took care of the vacuum leak, master cylinder means working brakes. Swapped throttle bodies out for a spare that came with the truck, made a new paper gasket, and tightened the spring preload collar for the IAC, so it can now actually seal. Also hooked up the coolant bypass tube on the throttle body I had forgotten about, which was the source of my coolant leak haha. Set timing to spec, fiddled with the idle screw and the idle set screw for the throttle so it’s now idling perfectly at 800RPM with timing at 10*, just like specified. Should be able to get it smogged and registered this week! It’s seriously running so smoothly now. Both transfer cases are shifting nicely, and it goes through the gears without issues. Spare tire was the only thing I had to climb.

Alternator isn’t charging, so I have to order a new one.

Bummer, fooled me good.

I hadn't noticed them in the other pictures before but it looks like I am just a derp.

I had cut the bumper horns out last week but didn't get around to finishing them. Burned together last night and ready to go on the truck. Happy with how the turned out. Each horn is only two separate plates.
