walkers are not the ONLY reason i like those pics, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut deffffff the main reason
Sounds very similar to the hack-fuck work I just did, only with slightly better documentation! HahahaI had to move the whole wiper motor towards the front of the truck then down a bit. So I built a tab off the cage and drilled into the stock sheet metal area.
In doing that I had to cut out a portion of the lower sheet metal area that houses the wiper linkages.
Then I had to shorten the linkages and actually I shortened the tab that spins on the motor.
Essentially the fix was to reduce the amount of “swing” the linkages move and scoot the whole motor assembly away from the tube that it was crashing into.
I’ll post the pictures I have and if you want a closer look let me know and I’ll snap some close ups when I get home.

Best use of child labor and office chairs I've ever seen.
Looking awesome. Jealous of your fancy hood hinges and lights. All I've got are 4 hood pins and a sore back.
It's glass and pretty light. I can one man it but prefer two people to more easily hit my pins. Also have dzus fasteners down the side to stop it from being floppy. I don't eyeball my engine as much as I should..I gotta work him while he’s not old enough to complain about working yet.
The office chair came in clutch, it doesn’t look like it in the video, but I couldn’t find shit to hold that bumper in place lol
And those hinges could not be any closer to the cage and close fullyit’s almost like I designed it that way. But it was just a happy accident.
I am going to run front hood pins though.
Is your hood fiberglass? I couldn’t imagine slinging a steel hood around without hinges
