Thanks dude! It's been a fun truck. Definitely nothing fancy here...Motto has always been keep it simple and in the dirt. Truck has been super solid through out the last decade and a half. So many epic adventures and memories.

Just recently a few months ago I grenaded the motor... ( ran it out of oil) so she will be getting new heart in the next few months. I have shifted my focus a bit off this truck and more one the 4 runner.

Welp, With the growing family a few years back. It became apparent that The Mouse ( https://badlinesgoodtimes.xenforo.cloud/threads/toyotally-awesome-94-pickup.6/) wasn't going to fit the squad. Going over all the options in my head changing my mind 300 times. Talking about building Tacoma, getting a full-size. Doing a solid axle swap on Tacoma.. getting a 1st gen 4runnner... kept popping up...

Sometime last year I was talking with my buddy Sean at Empire Fab about the 4 runner that he's had forever. I told him I was interested. The thing was sweet, super clean body, elockers, HD...

A goal for this year is get motor swapped, get this bad boy back in the dirt.
 
I agree. It's an easy swap. If not in the mouse than the 4runner needs swap done quickly so mouse can get a new tired motor installed

 
He just needs to hammer down get the correct stuff to do the 3rz swap in his 4runner. Then take 4runner 22re and install into the mouse

This thing has been a fun machine over the years. So many epic adventures. Thousand and thousands of dirt miles over the last decade and a half This is for sure one of the flag ship vehicles for Bad Lines Good Times. Although it doesn't get the miles and love it used to it isn't going anywhere for the foreseeable future.

As far as the Local Legends, I have been selecting builds that have evolved over time with solid documentation. This would definitely fit the bill. Self proclaiming that status just seems douchey to me. 🤷‍♂️

I do want to do Podcast soon talking about the Evolution of the truck, favorite trips, breakages, repairs, prep. And then do another Video of the truck in use out in the dirt. Step one will be to get my other rig running. So I can get to work on rebuilding 22re to swap back in to this beauty and return it to is previous glory! So stay tuned!

Watching your YT truck video break down. Can you take some pics of your rear tire holder? I like the way you have the bottom tire inset into your bed. I want to do the same for my truck so that I can still use my bed for gear.

Yea. just going with hammered dark bronze again. I have been lagging pretty bad on updates. Pismo for Carlos' Bachelor party was a good time. Truck ran well no issues that i can recall
