the flat flange is good to make a simple plate and weld right onto the tubing beside the engine
Got the prime weld up in the eagles nest with the Lincoln. I briefly tried the protig on the thin ass 1.25" coolant tube (.055") and the arc would not really start and was wondering every where at 75 amp. the prime weld worked just fine and in control!
had send slut send cut out the 2 brake caliper pieces all nice like for about 35$
they are just clipped from my CAD so they slide right on and then i in a coffee rage used the new tig on them
pretty pleased with my hack jobbing
Cut up some 3/8" home depot flat bar for the LCA mounts. Bolt threads will be bearing on one side so I just cut under size and ran the 9/16 tap through it
at times people will want to whole story to a car build and me being a bit of a troll i came up with something more juicy than the truth. chatbot helped with the edit and graphics
Throttle linkage
slightly fugly but works very smooth with the 2 bearings
i was planning on nylon bushings but figured they would melt, crack or otherwise eat shit in some magic fashion
