This is my 1st gen Tacoma (Prerunner model).
Its a 2wd, Auto, w /3.4L
Its simply designed and built, fairly just bolt-ons, as its mostly a daily driver. So down time is limited.
Front-
Camburg 3.5 kit
Fox 2.5x8 coilovers
Rear-
Deaver j59 leaf springs
Fox 2.5x10 smooth bodies
I run small 33" tires.

I aimed to keep the shocks below the bed, to have as much of the bed available. This was the most recent way i last loaded. Not shown is a canopy and an 8' x 10' roll of fake grass. Those go atop the cooler and husky box. Longer plotted trips, makes great for laying down. Plus it give camp some bonus points.

Looks awesome. Keep it simple and have fun with it. I would love to find another Tacoma but 4x4 this time. However i'm not gonna pay the ridiculous used Toyota Tacoma prices.

My old phone had alot of progress pic. Ill have to extract the memory card (phone was a 2013 model) and upload later. This is just from what i have to now.
Went down to Superstition OHV, down south. It was a fun trip. Night drives were fun. I also threw in new limit straps with clevis. Squeezed a last trip on the pads and rotors. Alittle past due and no more brake lube caused brake drag. Did new limit straps with clevis aswell.

On my way to Death Valley National Park, CEL came on. P0420. Replaced both cats and 02 sensors all at once. Figured once and done.

With 225k+ miles on stock leafs, it was time to replace. They were flat, almost like a W shape. They would bottom easily. Did a simple Deaver (j59 pack) with some 2.5 shocks. Cycled and got 14". And all under the bed. Did everything with 3 coats of Steel-it.

Redid my jack and mount.
The base mount is a 3/16" aluminum piece, with 4 countersunk bolts, bolted to the bed.
The jack simply hooks in the front, and rear lands on hood pin bolts.

Right before this recent rain, went up to Gorman for a day trip with friends.

Got to flex the rear abit.

Also got to catch some deer in the open. Very tranquil.
