Stratton studios crew cab build

Took it down to the frame, all new tube work. He used my motor and steering swingers I think, nothing else from what I can see.

WOW that’s crazy wonder if just starting with a donor cab only would have been better

This is probably what the dude I bought my truck from is saying also LOL. Was cheaper to buy the whole truck and part it out (make money on the parts) then start building it from there.

Who am I kidding it makes no sense. Me and him should have started with a new cab LMFAO

I can't imagine that was his plan from the beginning but all in all I don't care because that sell really set me up to build the family rig. I also learned a ton about the process from that truck and what I want and don't want lol

Yeah it wasn't my plan either then the truck turned into a blizzard of a project LMFAO. I blew up the trans and somehow cut the entire truck apart.

I have a similar similar story with a car, I used to race it in a prepared auto-x class, anyway it was doing fine then I damaged a front shock at an event. Instead of replacing the shock I tore the entire car down... never put it back together and bought a Miata.

I'm sure you know, but be careful driving it without the front diff, I've seen the beam fold without it in.
