Random Projects

Well might as well post a little project I picked up 1976 Yamaha DT125 hasn’t ran in a few decades but stored inside paid $400 and already got it to run PO put a gas tank sealer inside and it made its way to the carb a little pick and a battery jumper got it fired up and idling so time to take it apart and see what I can clean and paint View attachment 34866
Nice! I have a DT175 one been considering getting fired up and cruising around town.

That’s my plan going to keep it simple in the rebuild and try and get it running for under $1k I’m already at $650 with parts and I still need tires and to register it hopefully get it street legal

Made this rock funnel thing for my folks. They’re building a house and had to make a giant retaining wall using gabion cages. I thought this thing was big and heavy til I saw the excavator that was filling it up. Pretty cool project though and different from the norm for me.

Here is a truck i have helped a bit on. We notched the frame at my house, and then have helped him with a couple odds and ends to get it on the road. He bought it a year ago, replaced motor and trans, bagged it, gave it a cheapo paint job and did wheels and tires.... all out of a single car garage in his apartement complex. lol

Another distraction in the shop. The old my freind can do it cheaper redo.

83 C10 4 linked on air bags. Lowrider style.

I drew up a new setup that makes a nice cross member that incorporates link mounts and has areas for the exhaust and plumbing to pass through. For the record it is never cheaper to do it twice.

Put a 1970s Maserati motor in pretty decent 304 frame i built in a couple days all hand cut stuff as i dont have a table or hell even a bandsaw at work. Turned pretty solid for not doing stainless in like 6 or 7 years.

The ol tow pig was looking rough. Being a broke ass I’m not going to spend the money having it repainted. Did my best to make it look better. Did poppy’s patina, roof I wiped on, hood I sprayed. It’s far from perfect but worlds better.

Rear bumper on a tundra. The owner had it powder coated. Have a t100 coming in for one the same style next week.

Have an 80's BMX frame with damage on the top tube and the seat post is trashed, so I turned into to a twin top tube. I like the way it looks with the loop tail.

That’s cool.

I was a redline guy but always liked the Torker frames. They felt so light!
