devils advocate. i didnt vote for our current administration, yet here we are and I say all those same things. I am not 100% confident voting really does anything. Tinfoil hat time. But do you think this government will allow the public to actually influence anything? I feel like they put on the dog and pony show to appease us and so we think we have a say..... But really its like parents and their kids... parents always dictate the rules and let kids think they have some say... but ultimately its the parents choice in anything. I think that is how our country is run.

Why do I think this.... look at last election, 5 mile long trump caravans, trump merch on every corner. it was in your face everywhere... did you see any of that for biden? how the hell does he win? Also feel free to call me an idiot, because I don't know shit. lol

You don’t need that stuff when you have social media and mainstream media captured and doing your bidding, spreading lies to never-Trumpers in an echo chamber getting them fired up

I'm honestly so sick of politics on both sides the ditch (I'm Canadian) it's all that fills my news feed online, and I've pretty much completely stopped watching news.

We have a Federal Election coming up at the end of the month to pick our new Loser... ahh I mean Leader.

I haven't been in across to Michigan in a couple months (usually across every other weekend). I just don't feel like dealing with Canadian Customs (never had an issue with U.S) hassling me coming home, especially with all this tariff bullshit and animosity that's currently going on. I've canceled a couple trips I had planned because of it, places I've been going 20 years.

I just hope the leadership of all 3 countries ( US / Canada / Mexico) can come to their senses and stop this dick measuring contest they have going on and learn to work together. We all need each other in one way or another.

the news is a total shit show. Could you imagine how much better our country was if the news actually reported positive stuff and not bashing either side every chance they get.... or writing dumb fucking articles about their opinion? Dont get me started on how worthless all of the articles are about celebrities...

I am interested to see how the next 4 years goes. Trump is shaking things up a bit and makes me a bit nervous to see the outcome.. Even though i do think it needs to be done.

Another thought. What is everyones thorughts on the Telsa deal and everyone trying to boycott and vandalize the cars?

Here is my thought and i will preface this with i am a telsa owner and not a liberal at all.

1. vandalizing someones vehicle is dumb as shit. I feel like this is going to turn into Kyle Rittenhouse real fast... Someone vandalizes someones car, the owner comes out and beats the shit out of that person.... and then owner ends up in court... all the while the person vandalizing the car is crying foul..... I think these vandals should be shot.... no reason to fuck with personal property because you are upset at someone..

2. this pisses me off. they were all pro elon and telsa 3 years ago... now they are crying because he wants reform? These people are retarded, i would love to hear some reason why they think any of this is just. I dont understand thier logic and again i think its fueled by the news.

Everyone on both side of the political spectrum seem to be going right off the fucking rails.

I didn't care if you drove a Tesla 3 years ago, and I don't care now. Now that poor person that bought one for some fuel saving is catching a label, and running the risk of having their car vandalized for no reason.

I live in a border town Sault Ontario, Sault Michigan. There's been reports of cars with Ontario plates being vandalized (keyed / tires slashed) at the local walmart and restaurants. I don't have an issue with ANY American. I'm just a blue collar working stiff like anyone else on the Michigan side and share much of the same values and interests as them, but I don't want to run the risk of damage to my truck just because some dude doesnt like my government (their terrible) because FOX news told them to be mad at Canada.

Both our towns economy's are reliant on each other.

Im with you. I mean, Ive always looked at tesla (and prius) owners as absolute fuck-knuckles that cant drive worth a shit (seriously though, why are they such bad drivers?), but that doesnt mean they deserve to be vandalized. Thats insane. Dont like tesla? Dont buy one? Dont like someone? Dont vote for them. Pretty simple concepts to me. But now suddenly everyone on the left is claiming to have hated Elon before he was even born and saying teslas only exist because of rich white conservatives. WTF? Theyve ALWAYS been driven by mask-wearing hippies with low testosterone every time Ive seen them cruising around... (and those were chicks)

TLDR = Im looking for a clean tesla that a lefty nutjob is dumping for C-H-E-A-P because of their hatred for elon and trying to teach him a lesson.
