I could try and put some loops together that would work out and keep you going the better direction on the trails.

1900' of climbing in 8 miles is quite the slog there!Rode sunday for first ride of the year. Had a little break in the rain so headed over to one of the local trails that is actually still rideable in the rain.
Was drizzling a little but but not bad. Got to the top of space it started pouring haha trail was a straight up creek. There was nothing I could do other than laugh at how drenched I was. Was in survival mode hit a little sender landed in a rock garden and burped the rear about halfway down mtn haha. Probably about 2 miles from the truck still. Pulled off under a tree and put some air in it so it was ridable Made it down the rest of the way back to the truck. Had to strip down into just my bibs for the ride home haha
Tires on the EVO are pretty smoked so going to swap them out.

it was uphill both ways in the rain ... shoulda brought the e bike but wanted to be a man haha

Didn't stop for pictures, but I rode Dos Vientos this week and last week. Both were short rides as they were after work. I can't wait for the time change on Sunday to get an extra hour of daylight after work!

My legs should be back by next week. I typically have my bike with me Tuesdays in NP if you want to meet up somewhere.

No problem. I want to get out there and ride with everyone, it's just easier for me to ride right after work when there's daylight and before the baby's bedtime. Leaving at 6 makes it harder to get away.

Brought my bike to ride after work yesterday. Drove to dos vientos and got geared up to find I forgot to switch my flats back to clips. No worries, I’ll just wear my flat shoes… nope. Took those out of the truck. Whatever, I’ll ride in my work tennis shoes. Went to check tire pressure and found the shoulder of the rubber was damp with tire sealant. It was cracked enough that it started seeping out. Packed up and headed home and put on the new set of butcher and purgatory tires I ordered the other week. Was trying to get one more ride out of the old ones, but it wasn’t happening. Brought the bike back to work today for round two.
