Mojave Rd. trip plan

So Laughlin got some rain….

Anyways I’m 90% sure I might be missing this trip, but the 10% chance that I
sneak away means that I’ll still do a little prep, ball joints, diff oil and possibly
the transmission crossmember bushing., if it’s possible.

nope can confirm that ball joint has to be fucked.

Yes. I have a lot of faith my sketchy ways.

With that said I did some reorganization this weekend to the back of this ol sled. Turned out pretty organized and tidy.

Jack mounted, 2 spares, 2 x 4gal rotopax, and Cooler strapped down.

Man, another good trip I'm going to miss! Still a lot of small projects I want to get knocked out on the new truck before I make a trek that far. Not sure what's on your itinerary but if you haven't (and you can) check out the desert toads cabin SE of Baker and the lake bed along the trail. It would make for a good over night destination. Be safe guys!

Changed trans oil and filter and made a solid trans mount. Spent way too much time tigging the removable portion, but it’s done and feels plenty beefy.

Tomorrow and Wednesday is rain all day. I’ll have to do a little wiring Thursday morning, pick up food, and then head out!

Do I spy a SEMA driveshaft?

This weekend’s Mohave trail had good weather and tacky ground. Raptor that Turner got last month crashed into 2 trees and Jack broke an axle so we put his truck on the back of Kyle’s truck to finish the trail. 180 miles each day and very nice out there right now!
