Don’t have pics from the beginning, but I’ll try to add more as we go, along with some older pics showing progress.

We’ll be using the stock front diff and we’ll see how long it lasts with 400 hp and 37’s haha

Wow dude... Are you like the only one to do that with an A-arm set up?
For rangers yeah. The solo Toyota kit is similar. The Rcv axles make it possible. Their non plunging 930 inner joints are good to 40° The liters are good for 45. At like 18-19” they’re at about 30° but camber gets bad at more droop than that and the tierods are maxed. Could get a little more up travel but it already has bad ground clearance at full bump even on 37’s.

This is Brandon from BTF, right?

Always wanted the 4x4 race kit for my ranger.

I ordered some custom ranger axles from you about 6-7 years ago. Only got 13" out of my long travel, but felt great.

18" of IFS 4x4 will be awesome!

Yes, that’s me. Was it a Dixon kit or one you made? That’s about all you can get with stock cv’s. Still enough to have fun with imo.

No, this thing has already snowballed big time, and I think the owner is trying to stop the bleeding at some point. We’ll see how fast it goes through racks and go from there.
Don’t let him go! Tell him ‘if you build it… they will come’

Ho Lee Chit! I’m currently drawing up an A-arm 4wd kit for 97-03 F-150’s with D44 hubs. Can you send me a rundown on the axle you’re using? I was going to go full hood and weld some axles together.

It’s non plunging 930 inners from Rcv, along with their d44 outlets for a full-size bronco/f150.

If they already have 930’s for your year f150 you’ll be miles ahead, the inner cv adapter pieces are spendy.

updates!

Looks awesome. I was able to achieve the full travel as my 2wd kit when I did the first and only 4x4 kit of mine for a Tacoma. Stock diff but RCV inners and D44 outers. Only limited up travel to keep diff out of ground and prevent cutting even more out of the fiberglass and some firewall for bump and some turning.

This is the first pair of this style trailing arm for us, I’m pretty happy with these ones. We’ve done a few versions and never was really happy with any of them aesthetically. These ones I like. The upper link Travis made and Dane welded. That took way too many hours, but it’s cool. And here’s the exhaust, all stainless tube, tig welded, y piped to one muffler since dual would’ve been almost impossible with the transfer case in the way. Trying to keep up with all the cool guy builds with his truck. Lord knows I can’t afford one like this. Haha

We are getting so close I can taste it, good thing too because the owner of the one that came in after this is not as happy with progress as he should be…not enough hours in the day and I’m too tired to do the 18 hr. Days anymore.
Custom evaporator core box done along with custom lines etc. hopefully we put enough fan in there to make it work. It’s all kind of an experiment! Fuel cell powdercoated and in, most of the plumbing is done, manual “conversion” done on the transfer case, it’s a bit crowded since he wanted a hoon handle too. Travis did a great job on the console though.
Yes, that’s his exhaust sitting on the floor. Lol.

If customer isn't happy with the progress then he gets to pay another $50 an hour to hire more workers for you. And if he's still not happy simply ask him if he would work for a 15 hr shift for same pay as first 5 hours. When I tell customers I work 8-5 and anything after that or weekends it's time and a half just like OT is in retail type jobs.
