I live in Australia and it's awesome, but

I vote bronco, explorer or OBS f150. I did +2" beams and have 18" of usable wheel travel with working 4x4. Out back is @Giant Geoff spring under kit on a stock width rear axle and 12" shocks cycling about 16" (more if I notched the frame). The best part is it looks completely stock to the untrained eye. Also our stock Bronco prices are criminal over here as well.

Also might be interesting to note some prices of these trucks over here. These should give you an idea of what we pay. These prices are ballpark examples of the cheapest options I can find for sale that are in decent enough condition to be driven regularly. By no means the cleanest examples. Lower end price range without being complete undriveable shitboxes.

First gen Raptor - 70k AUD (45k USD)
OBS F150 4x4 - 30k AUD (20k USD)
Bronco - 30k AUD (20k USD)

Pretty crazy really, I would have given up on the prerunner dream long ago if I didn't love it as much as I do, I remain fucken determined hahah.
Are the early explorers available down under and less cost-prohibitive? Would have been here 1991-1994 in the states.

Have just been exploring these options a little bit more and starting to seriously consider an OBS F150, what does your front ens setup consist of? That's a good looking Bronco mate!

We didn't get any variants of the TTB explorers at all unfortunately, otherwise that would definitely have been on my list!

Just some home built beams and radius arms and a single Fox 3.0 with a 2.5" bump. Very basic
