Health/Fitness

anything labeled "no sugar" or "sugar free" might not have any REAL sugar in it, but it has more shit in it than GG's ranger abortion...................
you're better off eating real sugar and just having a very limited amount, if possible.

After AM coffee, start drink a gallon of water a day. You wont have time to worry about any other variation of liquid
I have no idea how people drink that much. A normal day, I have 1-2 coffee cups of coffee and 1 cup water… the only time I have drank a gallon of water in a day would be if I am in the garage mid summer, and sweating for 8 hrs long

ummmmmmmmmmmmmm.................... summer time here, im AT LEAST 2 GALLONS A DAY. I've measured/counted it multiple times. hah

liquids are easy for me. coffee, probably too much to be honest, and water (water & propel mix sometimes) and thats it. pretty easy when everyone in the house kinda does the same. very glad i got Brogan on healthy liquids from the start. he doesnt even like sodas or anything suggary/shit like that

(Before any of you fucks say "yeah living in a sauna state like you, that makes sense!" Hardyharhar....) that's actually not why I drink so much.
With my specific brain Injury, it pretty much fucked up my whole internal thermostat/thermometer. Hence why I'm always profusely sweating...

its really not bad over an entire day ... give it a try. even if you don't get through the whole gallon each day it's a hell of alot better than the thimble of water you are drinking now.

Yeah when I was going to CTN rehab for my brain, which is something Jakey should've done, they had me have a gallon jug with time marker on it and every therapy session every hour they would check and make sure I drank to the mark on what time it is. If I didn't they would mark me negative on my Home Independence checklist, which was their report card my main therapist would use as a judge to see how good I was doing and would do outside of their offices. It defiantly helped and I always have a gallon jug with me when in the shop or in the car since you gotta stay hydrated. Even when I'm sitting at my desk feeling hungry, aka bored, I will drink some water and it fills the "hunger" for a while.

I get drinking a lot of water but has anybody found a good hydration powder that they like. I have read and listened to a lot of stuff on needing more that just water.
Also on another note what about supplements like creatine and collagen? There is so much information out there and as an older guy I am trying to wade through it all.

I second this, but I have no helpful information.
I drink a fuckload of water & propel, mixed. Usually about 75-85% water, the rest propel.

Supplements, I have no idea on.

I like the re-lyte brand electrolytes powder. Good flavors and have a no flavor option, made in the USA and not expensive. Creatine and collagen have been game changers for me since I’ve hit my 40s. Recovery and little aches/pains was a big obstacle trying to stay consistent in the gym. Ancient nutrition collagen protein with a good creatine is a go to after work out drink. My brother in law works in the supplement industry and says the creatine capsules are better due to the powders using heavy bleaching to make it white. This causes headaches and cramping something I experienced with a name brand company. Also the brand I take now recommends a minimum of 120 ounces of water per day when taking creatine.

I just did my yearly physical and talked with the Dr. and he confirmed you have to drink a lot of water. I just started on both collegian and creatine this week so I will update back. I have also heard with creatine you will notice some weight gain due to water retention.
On another note I have been consistent in the gym for a couple years and failed to see any weight loss. Since my initial consultation with my Dr. I have started to intermittent fast and keep my calorie intake at around 1800 and I am see some weight loss.

When it comes to creatine, yes capsules are better no bleaching is needed so less to no side effects. Only problem it’s more expensive, powder is cheaper for sure. The conversation came up after I told him I got some really crazy headaches and cramps from one brand but not the other. That’s when he shared some of the manufacturers buy cheaper shit and have to excessively bleach it to get it white.

Adam have you considered going to a place like GameDay and getting your testosterone levels tested? I’ve been putting it off for years and think it’s time to have a real sit down and not just guess at what I’m doing. Although I need to lose about 50lbs of fat, and have read that it’s actually really easy to lose weight using certain peptides. I started dabbling in Peptides 3 weeks ago and have put on 12lbs of muscle in those 3 weeks. In a month or so I’m gonna add another one and see if I can drop some body fat

I really have no idea about any of that shit. I did get my T tested last year through my general dr and he said it was normal... Interested to see how those peptides work for you..

I will say this month I have totally sucked. Still eating decent, but havent really exercised at all. I need to get back on track with that. I do feel that i am starting to slip more as well and not be so structured. I need to figure out where that motivation from the beginning of the year went.

I had never looked into the until a few months ago, I went down that rabbit hole real hard. Since it’s just amino acids theres a peptide for just about anything you can possibly imagine, so I went with one that helps with muscle development, aches and pains/inflammation. And supposedly 100% safe and legal as you can order them from just about any website out there. I would suggest looking into it on YouTube, but be careful it’s addicting because there’s so much information out there

Spill the beans which one are you taking. I have just started with creatine and collagen. I also take a good multi vitamin. I just had my blood work and my T levels are within range but not great. I did increase from last year by almost 40 naturally.

Yeah I was watching a show and the person on the show was working out all the time and they weren't losing weight like they thought they should, got tested and their peptide's were off and got prescribed something to balance that out and they started losing weight like they did when younger.

I notice if I don't snack during the day and I don't eat anything past dinner which is at 5 I can lose the extra weight I usually have pretty easily, and I got a desk job now too.

I'm injecting CJC1295 5 nights a week and want to add BPC157 with TB500.
I take a lot of vitamins(10+ a day including collagen), but I’ve been looking into taking collagen in a powder form.
