I definitely want to delete it at some point but being in Commiefornia not sure how thats going to work. I dont have any address outside of the state so im stuck registering it here. I know they have been seriously cracking down on diesels registered out of state.

Hoping to find a loop hole at some point!!! Seems this gen is pretty good, only big thing i know of is the heater grid bolt breaks so im going to replace the intake horn/heater situation with the banks unit.

Are they targeting diesels with out of state plates specifically? or just city cops noticing around town everyday and jamming you up?

I was under the impression they couldn’t “profile” out of state vehicles anymore

Thats just what i heard around town but i dont have any specific run ins so i cant say for certain. Most of my buddies that have their trucks Registered in AZ dont drive them often around town. Just occasional weekend drives or going to the desert/havasu etc so not a big issue for them. I daily drive this thing and drive quite a bit for work.

My truck was registered out of state as well, but only used for towing and what not. Only used it occasionally around town to pick the kids up
A few months back I figured I would get the fluids moving in the truck and drove it to work, I’ve got about 2 miles of freeway driving to work and right before my off-ramp a U-Haul pit maneuvered me and put me into the guard rail…. After I called CHP I started putting a story together on why I was driving an out of state truck to work . He didn’t bring it up so that wasn’t an issue.

Side note, take as many pictures as you can of how clean your truck is right now. It was an absolute nightmare dealing with the auto appraisal people on the worth of my truck…

Absolutely I will. I was fully committed to Ford. I had multiple I looked at and was just kind of waiting for the right one and this truck came up through my brother in law and i knew the deal was too good to pass up. First impressions is it rides really well with the Carli kit on it and it doesn't feel as big and heavy and sluggish as the ford felt. Idk, to me the fords felt big stiff and slow. This truck almost drives as good as my 1500 Silverado did. I still love the styling of the fords they look more aggressive to me but the look of the Ram is definitely growing on me.

hahaha i know right!! i need to get some updated ones! i thought about putting some of the offroad style mirrors on it but i kinda like the OEM look. I need to do some research on what would fit!

Quick trip recap. I posted a couple videos on IG.

Truck ran great burned about 30 gallons of fuel. New shock setup from @DialedShockPrep worked great, still some fine tuning to do to get her floating a bit better. Blew out a tail light and my spare tire carrier snapped off, lost one of the spares at 1am on saturday morning was lucky to find another camp had found it and they flagged me down and got it back to me. My rear end was blowing alot of fluid out of the overflow, not sure what the cause of that was but going to drain it and inspect it and put new fluid in it and see what happens. Overall good quick trip and stoked to get back out.
