Class 2000 ranger

Gong equal length would require all new steering swingers and that stuff as well.

Ya I no. In my head I wanted to make the truck 4wd down the road but im kinda over that idea. I think equal length will work out better for ground clearance and being mostly a dedicated race truck. I was plowing the 2 track everywhere this weekend

Ya I was looking at your wiy equal length beams and mounts to save the time from having to design and cut them out myself. Just cut my beams apart and use the ends
That is a better option.
40's sawzall and LS are the answer......
The guy that won the championship, raced on 35" & a 4 cylinder.

Finally started fixing what I smoked from the last race. Decided to ditch going 4wd and designed some equal length beams and new radius arms. It can cycle more travel but with limited horse power it will end up somewhere around 17". With 6 weeks left to get it all together and tested before the next more race its tight but hopefully doable.

Finally getting around to fixing the truck. Truck ran great and felt strong at the point 300. Everything was going great till I knocked the drain plug out of the dif and blew it up 28 miles short of the checkered flag. Threw in a new 3rd member with a little more gear. Decided to change around the bed cage set up and push all the weight as far back in the truck as my garage will let me. Still a few things to finish up but getting there

What ratio did you go with now? 5.67 6.0 6.20 7.0? Will def work better with the rear weight on those leaf's.

I’m gonna check out Racing class 2000 with Matt Helton‘s friend
https://drearacing.org/ they’re gonna do a race in April and it’s only $500 instead of the higher price at MORE. They also said they’re gonna do a simple pre-runner class where you don’t have to meet much safety as long as you have a cage.

We might try to run that depending on how we feel for the more race in April

Waiting on some parts from Carter to finish the spare mount and need to figure out a jack mount, rewire the battery and replumb the fuel cell. Hopefully try and take it out this weekend
