Prep is in full effect for BAP. Our buddy Mayday (AKA Ryan) came over tore the front end down and we found some cracks. The center link between the swingers finally gave up the goose after 10+ years. I have been watching to upgrade this to a spherical bearing to allow better free movement. Glad we caught this as it could have been bad. This is why it so crucial to do normal prep. We are also replacing steering bushings and heims for UCA etc. I am also about 3/4 of the way throught the wiring. New boost pulley is on the way as well. Going to have it driving again this Friday!

Really lacking keeping this up to date. Lots has been going on and trying to keep my head on straight. I will post a recap for the BAP. We decided to machine a centerlink with uniballs. The old one had bronze bushings and I had to replace them ever 500 miles or so. So far the steering seems alot smoother with the new centerlink.

From all the abuse the steering have seen over the years it was time to give it some love. The chassis side where the swingers mount were slightly wore out so I decided to go up in size. Had to get creative and use and extension to drill them out and come back in with a reamer. The heims have worked their way in to the swingers over the years so we decided to weld up the divits and sand them smooth. Made a tool to accomplish those task. Worked out great!

As you can see above we got the +4 boost pulley and went back on the dyno to let the bald eagles fly. New blet the whole 9 yards. To our surprise and disappointment we mad 1/2 pound boost more and 10 HP.🤣 we believe when I stripped the rotors it greatly reduced the efficiency of the blower. I guess that means it's time for a new one. I was pretty bummed to say the least!
