Advice on I beam coil over setup

Another quick update!
I’ve been doing all the little nickel and dime things that need to happen before the front end goes together.
I got 2 new heims for the steering linkage and took the old one out. Welded the shock mount as shown previously. Got the misalignments for the radius arm bracket, replaced the axle pivot bushings and now am waiting on brake lines and getting some coilovers made.
I know I said I would do coil overs later but if I already have to make a shock hoop, why not go all the way? 😂

Thank you to everyone who’s followed this thread this far and offered any advice! It’s truly the reason I’ve been able to get this far.

I’m hoping to be able to throw it all together by the end of the month!

Another update on the ranger!
I said I hoped it would be together by the end of the month and it is (sort of) haha!

Over the weekend me and a buddy ripped it apart and installed those marketplace beams and radius arms. And I put a stock style coil spring with a tie down strap holding it in just so it’s drivable.

The only things left to do for the front end now are finish mounting the radius arm brackets, (2/4 bolts are in on each side) and make a trans crossmember. After that I’m dropping it off at a friends shop where they’ll make the shock hoops for those coilovers.

Hopefully I can get it out in the desert before the seasons over!

I second a set of Geoffs Beams! Been running his equal length beams and links for many years now with zero issues. Best bang for your buck! May sting at first, However in the long run you will save yourself a ton of time and money if you start with some decent suspension rather than trying to "Make due"
I have a 91 ranger. The beam kit is like $3500 which I can afford but what else will I need to buy to have it mounted on my truck and working?

I haven’t looked at the kit in a while but I believe you need Dana 44 hubs and spindles, the crossover steering, coilovers, brake lines, and will have to make custom shock mounts on the truck to mount your shocks. That’s just off the top of my head though you may need more. They’re a pretty easy install but they do require custom welding work.
