saw in a video a pretty deep SUV build and the guy was braver than me with cutting the rear doors for tire clearance. i want more street features and pushed the axle back about a foot which is nice for longer wheelbase and departure angle. his door will be packed full of sand. it is pretty bad ass looking though!
Pretty sure that door will get paneled in. Have you been keeping up with the videos on MCD1’s YouTube channel? He goes pretty in depth on the projects he posts videos about.
any one have pics or links to a sway bar that would bolt on the axle and links?
i do not want more stuff that would come with sway bar links back to the chassis
i got a solution with my f250 bar
1.168"
got the front bored out to 5/8" to bolt to the extra shock mount holes
the rear will get a plate coming up from the pinch bolts on the rear heim joint
do you think a 1350 U strap would work for a hold down?
i was going to machine this 3/4" plate down for weight and T top it for the U bolt
plus the bay is not square in the seat of this thingy
i mean if i machined a top cap it would still just be 3/8" bolts....
