Wannabe Go fast solid axle taco

Sweet ride dude. How does this thing do in the open desert?
It’s okay. Compared to a rzr? Sucks. Messing with the bypasses help but I need to go out with a shock tuner to get it real good. Main issue is the lack of power and big tires. It’s faster on 37s and smoother in the desert I felt but crawls way better on 40s. I use this for mostly crawling besides getting to trail heads. Have a rzr for the real fast stuff.

I’m in Vegas. But go to southern Utah fairly frequently. If you have anyone, I’d definitely reach out. We have a few local guys and one that’s an old buddy but he does a lot of utv stuff.

Liberty Mountain Fab is in northern Nevada near Carson city he would be the closest to you, and excellent on builds like yours

Trail hero pictures. We ran some hard trails and no issues. My shifter cable has been getting hot from the exhaust so I’d like to replace that and I have clunk on hard climbs at the transfer case from the driveshaft I need to figure out. Pictures do some of these things no justice

Well traded the 67 dodge sweptline for an 83 Toyota pickup. Should be a good daily to switch off between with my 89. Ordered some new tires which should be here this weekView attachment 15867View attachment 15868
dude! That thing is rad. what's the story? Duals? gears? new tires? What's wrong with those little guys other than the flat looks like they got decent meat on them. That front bumper is like a Jay Leno chin from the side view!

Buddy actually owned it till he sold it in 17. It’s a 20r block, 22r head and Weber carb. Marlin l52hd trans. Marlin duals with stock gears. 4.88s. Limited slip front and Detroit rear. 35s (bfgs where super old and cracking. Dated like 16). It should be a cool truck for winter. Has factory heat and ac. Front springs are from my white crawler above when it was on leaf springs so that’s cool.

Got the new tires on the 83 and painted the wheels. It needs a new fuel pump so waiting on that. And the rear main leaf is broke but may have a line on a set local. IMG_3493_Original.jpegIMG_3482_Original.jpeg
