Yeah the TV cable is picky. I remember I had issues with that on my old GM 700r4. I also believe they cause issues on the explorer/ranger A4LD trans too.

Was considering this until I realized the length difference. Don't quite want to re do drivelines, mounts, exhaust..blah blah. Maybe a few more failed attempts with this auto and i'll come back to that idea.

I sent an email to Silver Fox, judging by the automated email response it seams like a pretty intense wait list to get any attention, we'll see.

The shop finally got the transmission to shift correctly. But I finally got a hold of Dan at Silver Fox and I think I’m still going to switch to his constant pressure valve body.

Now that the transmission fiasco is over, moving on to other things. Tracked down some issues and finally got the A/C functional. Thing is luxurious now lol

Took the Ranger to one of the tightest and most technical trails around and it walked right through it. Hit the cab on a few trees, but the rain gutter is stout and it didn’t seem to take any damage. This thing is so fun and easy to drive, my wife drove the whole way back no problem and my 5 month old slept through it.
