Yeah I saw. Decided not to since the bed is crinkled already. New fronts would look too good for the rest of the truck

Still haven't finished the bumper - haven't even touched it since the last post. But my brother needed to borrow some stuff, and my silverado bed was full of retaining wall block, so I got to drive the crawler over to his place. I gotta say, it looks good! Definitely needs some lighter springs up front to lower ride height and help ride comfort, but this thing is cool!

Spent some time on the truck today. Got the hood on hood pins, finished the bumper, mounted/wired the winch (decided to order synthetic line. You’re welcome, Tommy), and started painting tubes.

I might do a weekday trip to Gorman in a couple weeks, but realistically whenever the next owner takes it out. I'm going to be listing it for sale once I get it smogged/street legal.

Baby on the way + too many projects + insurance + registration costs - driveway space - money = for sale.

Eh I’d rather build a four door crawler with a better suited motor. Right now the money is more important than a stacked driveway

4runner body swap. 2nd gen 4 runners are basically free because the 3.0 suck. I gave Maitai a 3rd gen 4 runner he's got at his house he would probably be happy to have it go away.
