My kid rolled in to town for Christmas with KM3s cracked up like that. I'm wondering if BFGs crack fast as I've had it happen too in a couple years .We found him some tires for the return trip.
That's a good run!To be fair to my old BFG’s…. they had about 20 years on themso it was about time for some new shoes anyways
That's a good run!
Love new tires, but I used to get a new daily driver with tires for the price.

Yikes…..any experience with the yokahamas?
I was thinking about BFG’s for my truck but might consider Michelin’s or toyos
I will NEVER run an “older” bfg, and I 100% will never run their mud terrain. They almost killed me once, sent me across the lane. They almost killed me and Willis on my bachelor party when it came apart and shot us across oncoming traffic and missing a semi by mere feet. Tommy (tt motorsports) practically did die, and destroyed a completely built truck on the highway due to the tires separating. You can see both mine had a decent amount of tread and you’d never think you would need tires soon. BE VERY VERY cautious with older bfg.

Now with that being said, I have been told by multiple people that work within the tire industry that projects are almost impossible to de tread or fail on the highway due to them being corded opposed to steel belt. I cannot confirm or deny, just going off what I was told. My projects on my ranger have got to be 15 years old, and have yet to have an issue with them dirt or street.
Those M/Ts have all been discontinued and out of date for a while now not surprised it blew up. Over 10 years on tires isn’t a goalI will NEVER run an “older” bfg, and I 100% will never run their mud terrain. They almost killed me once, sent me across the lane. I'll be good with the front fiberglass I have now. I will be cutting and installing bedside for the rear tho.@Brett_408 Bumping up to 37s!! How are you gonna fit all that in thereI bet it’s gonna look awesome
If I come home with more wheels and tires I think my wife will actually kick my ass
i appreciate you looking out though.
